The History of the Bird Sculpture at San Antonio Place, Medellin

studies on the bronze sculpture "Bird" in the Parque San Antonio, Medellin

The color negative film, the documentary also photographs of a few days later on 29 January 1997, today's Plaza Botero (Avenida de Greiff) by a roadside bomb destroyed "La Sorpresa cafeteria were located, was developed in February 1997 by a photo lab in neighboring Medellin Envigado. The restoration of the photographs of the damaged sculpture of January 1997 in February 2007 was in a random temporal coincidence with the opening of the Botero sculptures exhibition in Berlin, but not intentional or planned in connection with this.
